The ABSS Air Purification Kit is NOT designed to remove Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide or other gases from the Air Supply. Specifically designed alarms and/or converters are required to protect the Blast Operator from these and other dangerous gases.

The ABSS Air Purification Kit is designed for Single Operator use and is supplied mounted in a suitable fabricated frame. Disconnection of this Coupling requires two deliberate movements:

1. The Nipple must be pushed into the Coupling.

2. While holding the Nipple in, retract the Coupling Sleeve.

This feature reduces the risk of accidental disconnection and is a requirement of Australian Standards AS/NZS 1716 “Respiratory Protection Devices”. Constructed from Brass and Chrome Plated, the ABSS Dual Action Couplings and Adaptors are available in stock right now.
